AIPMT 2009 syllabus and other important information

Also their has been no change in the pattern of examination this year.The AIPMT 2009 preliminary would be objective type and the final would be subjective
The application form can be submitted both offline and online and you can even pay via credit card online.More information about the availability of application forms and the branches of Canara bank where the form is available in this file.you can download it from here
Even the online submission of the form has been started.you can apply online here www.aipmt.nic.in

Sale of Information Bulletin and Application Form by post from CBSE, AIPMT Unit -23-10-2008 (Tuesday)to 21-11-2008 (Friday)
Online submission of Application form- 22-10-2008 (10.00 a.m. )to 01-12-2008 (5.00 p.m.)
Last Date of receipt of filled-in Application Forms for both Offline and Online application at CBSE, AIPMT Unit – 04-12-2008 (Thursday)
Date of Examination 
reliminary (AIPMT) 2009- 5th April, 2009 (First Sunday)
Final (AIPMT) -10th May, 2009 (Second Sunday)

ON 22/10/2008 THE TELEGRAPH NEWS STATES THAT THE AIPMT MAIN WILL BE OF OBJECTIVE TYPE QUESTIONS 30+30+60 OF 3 HRS DURATION AS PER SUPREME COURT ORDER BUT IN THE BROCHURE OF AIPMT WEB SITE THE OLD PATTERN OF NON OBJECTIVE QUESTION IS MENTIONED.ANYBODY HAS ANY IDEA ABOUT THIS.
Hi as far as I know it would be subjective,don’t know about the supreme court order.

SKS if their is any such news then CBSE would surely update the AIPMT site,just wait for a day or two and everything would be cleared

I have read the story here http://www.telegraphindia.com/1081021/jsp/nation/story_9997503.jsp but still you have to wait what CBSE says about this as this is a supreme court ruling so I think they have to abide by it
pls sir do make us clear taht whther aipmt mains would be subjective or objective because there is lot of confusion

Deepak till yet CBSE has not officially announced anything so it would not be better to say till their has been announcement by the CBSE.
Mural surely I would send you the info when AIEEE 2009 exam dates are announced
I have also mailed to Chairman ,CBSE in their link, interact with chairman about any proposed change in AIPMT Main pattern but no response yet.
sks th chairman definitely isn’t going to reply to you mail,he has some other work to do and is not at the post for just replying to the enquiries of the students,U have to talk to the guys in the CBSE office from their you could get the confirmation

My nephew from USA wants to take admission in medical college in India,
He has already missed the date for submission of Form of AIPMT for 2009.
My queries are:
1. As he is a US citizen is he eligible to give the AIPMT?
2. He has appeared for MCAT (USA equivalent of AIPMT), are those scores valid?
3. Are there quotas for NRI’s, If yes then what is modus operende to get into medical college?

sir, in aipmt mains paper 1 of chemistry physics wheather the numerical portion is more than conceptual? do they give marks on step or only in final answer?
is it compulsory to score more than 100 in main i.e 50% or cutoff decide?
yes a lot of numerical questions are there .what matters is speed. cut off depends on the level of paper but it is safer to score more than 50%
