The forms for IIT JEE 2009 would be available in the following banks-
IIT BOMBAY ZONE: CANARA BANK
IIT DELHI ZONE: UNION BANK OF INDIA
IIT Guwahati Zone: State Bank of India
IIT Kanpur Zone: State Bank of India
IIT KHARAGPUR ZONE: AXIS BANK
IIT Madras Zone : Canara Bank
IIT Roorkee Zone: Punjab National Bank

Reservation in IIT JEE 2009
OBC Candidates
For OBC candidates belonging to Non-creamy layer, 18% of total number of seats are reserved in each of the older IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee), IT-BHU, Varanasi and ISMU, Dhanbad and 27% of total number of seats are reserved in each of the new IITs (Bhubaneswar, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Patna, Punjab and Rajasthan).
SC/ST Candidates
For candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories, respectively 15% and 7.5% of the total number of seats are reserved in each IIT, IT-BHU, Varanasi and ISMU, Dhanbad. Candidates belonging to these categories are admitted on the basis of a relaxed criterion as defined in Section 10.
Persons with Physical Disability (PD)
For PD (including leprosy-cured) candidates, who are otherwise fit to pursue the course, and qualify JEE (with relaxed norms defined in Section 10), 3% seats are reserved as specified by the Government of India.
PREFERENTIAL ALLOTMENT OF SEATS (DS Category)
Two seats are available for preferential allotment of courses in each institute for children of defence/paramilitary personnel killed or permanently disabled in action during war or peace-time operations (DS category).
This time the IIT JEE examination is being set by IIT Guwahati

avanti if you have got the acknowledgement card and usually the sites online aren’t updated just look at different IIT’s site one of them would be surely updated

please let me know status of my application no.9778923 as i am unable to see status on all sites, as per sites this application has not received in office, but i have recieved acknowledgement card from office. i am worried about it. pl look into the matter and inform me.
sonia that’s strange none of the IIT JEE website has entred your application number online,though as you have received your acknowledgement card so their is no need to worry,you would be getting your ADMIT card too very soon
i haven’t received my ack card..they say in the brochure that if u haven’t received admit card then u will have to bring ack card along with other documents on 12th april..if i dont have the ack card then how will i give the exam..means 1 year wasted?
I heard a fake news -jee09 is preponed/postponed. Is it true?
Those who havent received the admit card check the Registration Number and Center Allotment here- http://jee.iitd.ac.in/regno.htm if the center has been alloted to you then you don’t have to worry about acknowledgement card,you would be getting the admit card soon
Hitesh this is simply fake news,under any circumstances the date for IIT is not going to be changed

I have applied via application form no. 9772076. i have not got any of the confirmation except for SMS confirming that it was under scrutnee. Kindly let me know how could I get my admit card and from whom. I am very tensed. please help!!!

Abhraneel I had contacted the FIITJEE the previous year and they said if I get about 190 marks in their open test then my rank would be in top 500 so now you can make the prediction yourself

Abhraneel and ankur, i am getting 180 marks consistently in FIITJEE .I hav gone through their rank predictions..Dont you think their predictions are too optimistic? They tell me i can be under 1000,…
Abhilash their is no way you could predict the pattern of IIT though as always calculus,coordinate geometry and complex numbers are favorites.In chem you have to go for complete inorganic which can be done from NCERT which is self sufficient,the physical their is no proper pattern though equilibrium is favorite,in physics as always electromagnetism

I have lost my admit card, Is it really required at the time of counselling in different-2 colleges under prime and EML list ?, If yes then what should I do in this regard….

sir, i am selected under eml and just got a word that the eml list is about five times then the previous one is that correct???
and, what colleges other than those listed in the iitjee site(i.e. IIST,IISER,RGIPT,etc)
take admissions through iit-jee eml ranks
and does getting listed in the eml helps me in admissions or not???

I,v got an E11932 in jee & 30445 overall in aieee.Can i hope for iiser or rgipt? Is it the first time iit has provided an eml & what were the cutoff ranks in these institutions last year? In which good colleges & streams can i get admission through aieee? The cutoff of lnmiit through aieee was around 13000 last year but wht about 10 seats through jee, cml or eml?
