Akash , to be more frank, DMCH ludhiana su@ks very badly ,, isse to accha cmc ludhiana hi hai The staff of dmch is very rude(relative’s personal experience) and their services are usually appalling .Have you not got into other colleges ,, if you have i must say that u must try them .BHU varanasi is cool although the city per se s@cks(dirty banaras)

ah well sagnik dpmt counseling is over mine was on 9 n congracs to u for making to it n mr.manish first of all very very congracs to u may be there is difference in aiims n mamc due to much exposure n infrastructure in aiims but getin into aiims is not the end of the game there are many other things which altogether make a succesful doctor so BEST OF LUCK to u !!!!!!!

last thing: had i not cleared aiims,i would have gone to the states to do bsc at yale and then would have entered into harvard medical school , cambridge(in usa one has to do bsc b4 entering med schoo l and they call our mbbs – md)…..
unlike rituraj , my plans are very clear—i do not want to be an engineer or a tech student,,i want to be an oncologist and then use my daddy’s mullla to erect a big hospital in midtown manhattan (or south dilli) equipped fully with cyber knife ,gamma knife etcetra
ritu, a shame really, your career plans are so fungible(u were ready to switch ur carrer line from medicine to tech just coz u did not get thru aiims.. atleast man , there is sth called conviction and idealism……you are definitely not in love with medicine , )
@pryianka, yaar , u r very right,,,,,my california resident uncle (a cardiologist) always says that it is not the most intelligent doctor who succeeds but the one who is the most dedicated..Girl, you stick to your conviction and enthusiasm and inshallh, you will go a long way .

So enjoy life and keep studying (whichever college you may be in) hard, as that is what we find happiness in, I’m sure of that!!

I heard there can be a third round of counselling for aipmt if students approach the supreme court. Have anyone approached the court ? We can form a forum and jointly fight the case…??? Everyone will be benifited……

Have u heard of anythin regarding 3rd counsellin…..
it seems that no one has filed a case in supreme court,so third counselling is out of question ,so if you had choosen any bds college(jst to be eligible for 3rd counselling) having bonds than it better to leave it within the cut off time.if you have any information about 3rd counselling then post here.about 200 mbbs seats of all india quota which were left by students will be surrendered to states after 15th september.if anyone from delhi is willing to file writ petition in SC can get monetry support from me ( i’m from tamil nadu)

hey guys ,the recent order says that those guys who didnt attend the second counselling are also eligible for 3rd round.DGHS cited this order with respect to SC order of last year ,how can they pursue last year order if they dont pursued the same order for conducting the third counselling,intead a fresh case had to be done for the same.it is injustice done to all students who took bds seats in distant places and joined the college to be eligible for 3rd counselling.most of guys who didnt attend 2nd counselling are studing in different med colleges thr state exams .now,as it happened in last year many of these guys attended the 3rd counselling and took the college alloted even though they had little willingness to join the same as a result approx 35-45 mbbs seats were surrendered to states depriving other who desparetly needed those seats.this matter should be discussed in SC hearing on 23rd.either tey should not be allowed or a bond stating that the candidate should join the alloted sats or reject at counselling only, to prevent wastage of seats,should be made compusary to be signed at counselling venue only.in the similar order for all india PG exam only those who took part in 2nd counselling were allowed to attend extended 2nd round counselling in both 2008 and 2009

next date of hearing of simran jain case reating aipmt cunsellingig in supreme curt ois on 27/11/09. nearly 250 seats of mbbs and 110 seats of bds are rejected/vancant by the candidates as per composite list of allotment after 2nd round of counselling on 27/09/09. is there any information for further counselling for 50% or above rank holder or any case has been filled in this matter.
