Eligibility:
For admission to the BITS Integrated First Degree programmes Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Further the candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and should have adequate proficiency in English.
Students who are appearing for 12th examination in 2010 or who have passed 12th Examination in 2009 only are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2010 test. Students who have passed 12th examination in 2008 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT-2010. Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2010
If you have topped in your Board exam then you would be given a direct admission in BITS
BITSAT-2010 Test Format:
The BITSAT-2010 will be of total 3-hour duration (without break). The test consists of four parts:
Part I : Physics
Part II :Chemistry
Part III : (a) English Proficiency and (b) Logical Reasoning
Part IV : Mathematics
All questions are of objective type (MCQ’s); each question with choice of four answers, only one being correct choice. Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark. No marks are awarded for not attempted questions. There will be 150 questions in all. The number of questions in each part is as follows:
Physics 40
Chemistry 40
English Proficiency 15
Logical Reasoning 10
Mathematics 45
Total: 150
If a candidate answers all the 150 questions (without skipping any question), the candidate will have an option of attempting 12 (twelve) extra questions, if there is still time left.
Application Forms
The candidates who wanna give BITSAT-2010 can apply either online or get the form via post.To apply online visit here- http://bitsadmission.com/fd/fdmain.htm The fees for BITSAT 2010 is Rs 1000 (Rs. 500/- for female candidates). Details for payment of fees are available at the BITS website while applying online.
Application form by can also be obtained by post from the Admissions Office, BITS, Pilani by sending a request on plain paper giving the candidate’s name, and gender with complete postal address, accompanied by a crossed demand draft for Rs. 1100/- (Rs. 600/- for Female candidates).

- Test center allotment and announcement to candidates : by 15th February 2010
- Candidates to reserve Test dates : 18th Feb. – 10th March 2010
- Candidates to download the Hall tickets with instructions : 10th April – 30th April 2010
- BITSAT Online tests : 10th May – 10th June 2010
- Candidates to apply for admission with 12th marks and preferences to Degree programmes : 20th May – 30th June 2010
- Admit List and Wait List announcement : 1st July 2010

1)NOT getting a printed fee receipt: As I clicked on the print fee receipt tab, I was redirected to the BITSAT home page, and the window closed. But my transaction id is written on the form. So can I send the form without the fee receipt?
2) I have by mistake inserted an extra digit in the pin code (4111001 in place of 411001) of my city. I have already made the payment, and have the form printed. Since it is a minor mistake I don’t think it would require to take out a new form and pay the application fees again(as mentioned in the BITSAT FAQ).What should I do to rectify it? Can I use a correction pen? Or should I send a written application?
BITSAT has really the best online examination facility as compared to other online exams.

hi to all … actually m giving the bitsat on 10 may i.e. first slot with first timings … i hv lost all hopes for AIEEE coz i get some trouble before the exam .. my score in IIT is around 170 . .. so can anyone suggest that how to prep for BITSAT ? i hv all hopes from it !!! \

@rahul-dude…just chill….BITSAT exam is not that difficult….be thorough with ur NCERTs(particularly chem)…n as far as physics is concerned u may go through DC PANDEY 4 the topics like waves,thermo n modern physics(not recommended if revision of other parts us left)…n as far as maths is concerned….level is intermidiate of JEE n aieee…so just hope for the best n forget jee n aieee till 10 may…n go 4 xam wid high spirits…..best of luck

i want to know about the 12 extra questions that are given after attempting 150 questions in the test.
how do we attempt the 150 question??
is it that we have to attempt all the questions in a series line or we can attempt all question in random order to be eligible for those 12 extra questions..

I hv just given bits 2010 . I hv secured 334 marks. Which all streams i can get.
with 334 you can get eee from bits pilani but not computers and everything from the other campuses
