VITEEE 2010 is going to be held on April 17, 2010 and The admission forms are now available at various post offices across the country.
Eligibility
- A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 60% of marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB)
- A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with 50% average marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) for candidates belonging to SC/ST and Students hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and from the North Eastern States of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh
- Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) candidates are eligible for all the programmes
- Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) candidates are eligible only for B.Tech. Bioinformatics, Biotechnology & Biomedical Engineering programmes
Application Forms
VITEEE-2010 Application Form can be obtained against cash payment of Rs.750/- from the various Post Offices listed.
Candidates can obtain the application form in person from the VIT University at Vellore (or) from the Administrative Office, New No. 6, (Old No. W-73), Second Street (Opposite Towers Club), Anna Nagar, Chennai – 600 040 (Phone: 044-42016555, 65480555, Fax: 044-26222555), by handing over a Demand Draft for Rs.750/- drawn in favour of “VIT University”, payable at Vellore.
Candidates can also obtain the application form through post by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.750/-drawn in favour of “VIT University”, payable at Vellore, with a covering letter addressed to “Admissions Officer”, VIT University, Vellore- 632 014, requesting for the application form and indicating their complete postal address.

VITEEE 2010 is over…but they did not give us the qstn papers….and so no answer keys….any idea what is the usual cutoff out of 120?

hi guys! well, todays a good fraxn of the paper was somewhat easy. 3 to 4 few unheard factuals in physics & chem. were the main highlights. the MATHS secxn was very lengthy & had some difficult questions too! practically a smart candidate would have solved about 35QUE. in physics & chem , & nearly 20 t0 30 in maths (rest to be ticked thru guess!). Expect cut-off to be around 85.
viteee previous papers r available in Arihant publishers’ series
VITEEE had a damn unfair question paper.I mean there was like a flood of questions coming out of paper and that too to be solved in 2 hrs.(20 min. for bubbling answers for sure). And do u all know that half of top VITEEE ranks have been already booked 3 months ago for 4 lacs each (my cousin booked dat too) , the remaining legal top ranks would be secured by really excellent students and if they go to VIT they would be underestimating their potential at a place which is just an ordinary engg. College but comes in survey’s limelight by bribing the surveyers.
going by the fact that number of seats in viteee has incerased by about 33% in 2010 and the blogs for viteee 2008 and 2009 the cutoff estimated by UTKRSH seems high. i would believe a score of around 70 (65 plus seems still closer to actual) to be the cutoff. Can someone throw more light on the matter.
Nope, i think that the cutoff would b that high estimated by UTKARSH, frm what ive heard from my seniors, they told me it will b around 80-85.
